Ah, geese! It’s both a celebration time and gearing-up for the “standing-in Times Square with your pants down”. The first of three, color, childrens’ picture books is slotted for release within ten days of November third. Perhaps sooner.
I’ve always been a story-teller. Get a bunch of kids (I had four little girls and now have eight grandchildren! I was the oldest of six biological children) and I’m the story-teller. Usually, I have all their attention. Hearing them laugh, or the tension in the room when the story is suspenseful, is very rewarding. But this is different–the childrens’ picture ebooks for the readers. First they are sentence, end-rhymers in twenty stanzas to have a plot, villain and a conclusion. It’s not easy-its HARD! But if you are a word-smith, an author or a writer–you have to hone your craft and take risks. I’m pretty sure the kids will like the stories and pictures (by illustrator Misty Wiser). But will the reviewers and the parents and grandparents?
